Mini Baja @ BYU-Idaho

One of the highlights of my undergraduate education was being a member of the Baja SAE team at BYU-Idaho. As captain for the 2012 season, I had a hand in all aspects of team, from establishing and shaping team culture, to getting my head behind a welding mask, and even pitching the business financials to a panel of judges. I helped organize the team’s efforts to design and build each of the buggy’s systems. Suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems were all built by the team in less than 4 months (while being full-time engineering students).
